Again … I am cheating because I can offer you every color while I just do very barely black and white works.
I hope you don’t mind that I try to consider “It kills me every day” a black and white work. 🙂

“It kills me every day” was one of the first collaborative art works which I did with fellow human beings on death row. My partner in this art piece is Travis Runnels. He is on Texas Death Row. We exchanged lots of letters and I needled quotes of him on these grey canvas.
I know it is not a lovely piece of art because the theme is harsh. As an artist we also must look into the dark places of inspiration.
And it is not just an inspiration!
I am a human being. I am an artist. I am against the death penalty.
Have a great day and go to enjoy some color after these grey photos!
